APPLICATIONS OPEN! Apply for a Foundation Scholarship by Wednesday March 13, 2023

We encourage all students, who are currently attending College or University, have applied, or are intending to apply for post-secondary education for the 2023-24 academic year, to make an application.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, 13 March 2023.

Supporting documentation must be received by the Foundation before Monday, 23 March 2023.

Scholarship applications are open to youth with both financial need and the potential to succeed. To be eligible, a student must be:

• A permanent ward, or were a permanent ward of a Child Welfare Agency for at least 12 months, or are/were eligible for a provincial or territorial extended care program, such as Continued Care and Support for Youth (CCSY), or Voluntary Youth Services Agreement (VYSA)
• Be age 18 by the start of the 2023 school year in September
• Be under the age of 30 when starting of continuing in your program
• Be attending a recognized post-secondary institution full-time for two semesters within one academic year (i.e. September 2023-April 2024 or January-August 2024)

Reminder! If you currently are a 2022-23 Foundation scholarship recipient and are returning to school in Fall 2023, you must make a new scholarship application, here!
