Register for PowerUp! 2023

PowerUp! is the first Canadian event designed for African Canadian/Black children and youth involved in the child welfare system in Ontario. Affiliated with Ontario Association of Children's Aid Societies and One Vision One Voice, it is an opportunity to connect to the black community, empower them, and inspire unity and togetherness for black youth across Ontario in the child welfare system.

This all-day event is a great chance to foster peer relationships and to strengthen connections to culture and identity in a fun, safe, and affirming way as per CYFSA requirements. Event Details:

The event will take place on March 6th, 2023

The event will be held in person at DoubleTree by Hilton Toronto Airport West 5444 Dixie Road, Mississauga, ON, L4W 2L2

Breakfast starts at 7 AM  

Registration table opens 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM

Program runs from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
