Stay Connected with free phone service – including data & a free phone through the Telus Mobility for Good Program

Stay connected with friends, family, employers, and supports with the Telus Mobility for Good Program. The program helps youth aging out of care achieve independence by providing youth with a free phone and a $0 plan. This enables them to stay in touch with friends and vital support networks, search for somewhere to live, find education and job opportunities and, build credit.

How to apply:

• Download a letter of eligibility specific to the province in which you were in care 
• Ask an official representative (worker, employee, volunteer) from a youth agency/organization/Ministry to confirm your care status and complete the letter of eligibility 
• Submit your application at https://evs.telus.com/mobility-for-good 

You can apply if you: 

• Have lived experience in the child welfare system and can produce a letter of eligibility completed on your behalf by a ministry/agency representative  
• Are between the age of majority in the province where you currently reside (see below) and age 26 at the time of your application: 

                           - Age 18 in AB, MB, ON, PEI, QC, SK 

                           - Age 19 in BC, NB, NL, NW, NS, NU, YT 

• Meet the specific requirements of the province where you were in care
