The summer has come to a close and the beautiful fall weather is now here. We are also entering the second month of the school year, which can be a stressful time for some. Midterms and other projects can be hard manage with the additional challenges you might be facing. It is important to make sure that you are taking care of yourself and are taking breaks from studying or working as needed. If you are struggling with your mental health and are looking for information, resources, or support, you can visit the mental health resources below:

Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in English and French. Kids Help Phone offers mental health tips, crisis support, professional counselling, and more.

Wellness Together Canada is a collaborative project that began with the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of mental distress. The services offered include informational resources, phone counselling, and access to free evidence-based tools.

You deserve to enjoy your time at school, and sometimes mental health can get in the way of that. We hope that you have found some helpful information that you can access whenever you may need to.
